The three health centers within the Charles de Gaulle City of Health, where the Ney Arias Lora Hospital currently operates in North Santo Domingo, could be inaugurated between April and August 2012.  According to the supervisor of Public Works for the country, Luis Sifres, the three facilities, a maternity, a pediatric, and a general and specialty hospital, will add approximately 667 beds to the national health system in the Dominican Republic.

The hospitals are being developed as "turnkey" projects by Carimex, part of IBT Group, with an investment of approximately $110 and $120 million dollars.
